Congratulations to Ms. Anna Layden for her successful pilot course for the “Think Quick Initiative”. Anna wanted to develop a course that would empower students to act during crisis situations. Anna’s pilot program brought instructors from UPMC & Stat MedEvac to certify nearly 100 Purchase Line Juniors and Seniors in “Stop the Bleed” training. I commend Anna for her passion and follow through on this project, and look forward to supporting her efforts with this initiative in the future.
